Shareholder and LES U.S.A Regional Vice President to Take Part in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s SABIT

Washington, D.C.  |  March 2013 – RatnerPrestia Shareholder Brian P. O’Shaughnessy will be a faculty presenter of the two week Special American Business Internship Training Program (SABIT) on March 22, 2013 in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.  Mr. O’Shaughnessy will be providing insight into technology licensing and commercialization for a delegation from the Eurasian Patent Office.  The members of the delegation have been specially selected by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and are industry specialists seeking to enhance technology transfer practices and legislation to protect intellectual property in their region. 
 
Mr. O’Shaughnessy will be representing the Licensing Executives Society (USA & Canada) for which he is Regional Vice President, U.S.A.  He has been a member of the LES Board of Trustees since 2007, and has also served LES U.S.A & Canada as editor, author and faculty member for its curriculum-based Professional Development Series.  Mr. O'Shaughnessy also serves the LES U.S.A and Canada, as an international delegate to LES International.
