RatnerPrestia Attends the 2012 IPO Education Foundation Awards Dinner
RatnerPrestia was honored to be one of the sponsors at the annual IPO Education Foundation Awards Dinner which was held on December 10th, at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC.Alex Kipman, a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and inventor of Kinect for Xbox 360, was presented with the 39th Annual Inventor of the Year Award.
RatnerPrestia Shareholder Brian P. O’Shaughnessy serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of RIT and was proud to attend the event in honor of a fellow RIT alumnus. Mr. O’Shaughnessy was joined by the firm’s founder, Paul F. Prestia; CEO, Jonathan H. Spadt; COO, Barbara A. Foley; and Shareholder, Thomas G. Southard.
The IPO Education Foundation also recognized the Hon. James F. Holderman, Chief Judge of
the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, for his outstanding achievements in the fields of innovation, creativity, and IP rights by presenting him with the Foundation’s 5th Distinguished IP Professional Award.
